Meet Robert Rapp

Nebraska raised. A wider view.

Robert grew up in Guide Rock, Nebraska, riding a horse named Shadowfax and working highland cattle with his grandfather. Today he is an independent insurance agent who splits his time between Omaha and the family farm and ranch near Cozad, helping families, farms and businesses across Nebraska compare their options.

The story behind the agency

1,500 miles from Calgary to Rush, Colorado. One horse, one man.

The road of life is never certain. Events can happen that we have no control over, whether it is the weather, an accident or our health. These events affect not only us, but our family and the community around us.

Thankfully, for many of us it is family, friends, faith and even people we meet along the way that help us through difficult times. This agency is dedicated to helping families, individuals and businesses manage risk and recover from the events we can't control.

Robert's story

The land still shapes the way he works with people.

Robert grew up in Guide Rock, in Nebraska's Republican River valley. Some of his earliest memories are of horses, cattle and long days outside with his grandfather.

Life took him well beyond Nebraska: to Rush, Colorado, where Rapp Road runs past his great-grandfather's family place, and to Calgary and Ballarat, Australia.

He earned an MBA from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Today he lives in Omaha and goes back and forth to the family farm and ranch near Cozad, working with clients from the Omaha metro to Dawson County.

Meet the founder
“This agency was created with one purpose in mind, and that is to help people when they need it the most. I grew up on a farm and ranch in South Central Nebraska and know the values of hard work, shared sacrifice and community. Storms come, but they do pass, and taking care of our families and friends is the most important thing. It would be my honor to help protect what matters most in your life.”
